Cuddle Time
Cuddle Time

Bethany and I took care of 3 of the cutest kids for about a week this past week.  We were in Ohio a couple weeks ago and brought the kids back to Kansas City with us while their parents (Bethany’s sister) went on a 10 year anniversary trip.  The kids are 7, 3 and 1.5yrs old.  We learned a lot about kids and a lot about these little guys.  We danced to christian techno music most days, went to cool parks and frequented their favorite fancy restaurant in town, McDonalds.   Their favorite game with me was the “Spin me” game.  I would pick them up and spin them over and over again.  Their favorite game with Bethany was “cooking fun things” game, like pizzas in crazy shapes, resurrection cookies and so on.

The oldest girl, Madison, loved to pray, play and be goofy.  One time she led us in 30minutese of praying for different people she knew!  The boy, Nathan, loved to yell all the time and tell people what he did that day.  He was hilarious to listen to because he would get so excited that he would only say a couple words of the entire sentence that would have fully explained what we did that day.  It came out like, “We made boat pizzas and then we put them in the water.”  Or, “Jesus died and we made cookies and didn’t die from them.”  He loved to add the word booger to everything.  I actually liked doing it too.  The youngest, Kennedi, was so cute and goofy as well.  She would pretend burp and then say her version of excuse me, which was, “Me me.”  We met their parents in St. Louis Sunday morning and they were so excited to see each other.  We love the quiet now that they are gone but also miss them tons.  Enjoy the pics!
